Policies
Safeguarding
A summary of how RallyGood will protect people, particularly children and adults at risk.
Our commitment
We are committed to protecting people from harm and abuse, responding properly to safeguarding concerns, and making safeguarding everyone’s responsibility. This applies to trustees, volunteers and the partners we work with.
Children and adults at risk
We recognise our duty of care to children (anyone under 18) and to adults who may be vulnerable, including people living in poverty or in conflict-affected areas. Trustees and partners must complete the appropriate checks before any contact with children. Anyone disqualified from working with children cannot be involved in RallyGood activities.
Photography and consent
- We ask permission before taking or sharing photographs of adults.
- For children, written consent from a parent or guardian is required, stating how the photo will be used.
- Photos must not identify children, or show anyone in a way that could cause harm or distress.
- We do not publish exact locations where that could put people at risk.
Our partners
Every partner must demonstrate that it has safeguarding policies and procedures, train its staff, and comply with relevant child protection and adult safeguarding law. We check this before a Drop launches.
Raising a concern
If you are worried about the safety or welfare of anyone connected with RallyGood, email info@rallygood.org.uk. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the police or the relevant local authority first. Serious concerns are reported to the Charity Commission.
